Yanteres (hereinafter collectively “us” or “we”) and our websites sites including Yanteres.com (“Our Sites”) respect your privacy. Accordingly, we have adopted and implemented this Privacy Policy for users (“Users”) of Our Sites. Your use of Our Sites or our services constitutes your agreement with this Privacy Policy and any subsequent updates hereof.

  1. Anonymous Browsing

    You can browse most areas of Our Sites anonymously without telling us who you are or revealing any personal information about yourself.

    However, Our Sites use modern web application methods that result in the the automatic collection and storage of certain information sent to us by your computer, mobile phone, or other access device which some may consider to be personally identifiable information. This information includes Internet Protocol or IP addresses, type of browser that you use, and other technical data about your computing environment. This information may be stored in server logs that we maintain and review for the purpose of improving and supporting the secure and efficient operation of Our Sites and to diagnose problems. Our use of “cookies” is further explained in Section V below.

  2. Collection and Use of Personal Information of Active Users

    If you elect to register for account with us, or if you otherwise choose to provide us with your personal information for any reason (including to advertise or conduct transactions with other users of Our Sites or to access certain areas of Our Sites), you will no longer be an anonymous browser to us but will instead become an active user (an “Active User”). As an Active User, you consent to the use, transfer, and storage of your personal information on our servers from time to time.

    We endeavor to protect our Active Users’ personal information by using technical and administrative security measures designed to reduce the risks of loss, misuse, unauthorized access, and disclosure. We retain such personal information as long as it is necessary and relevant for our operations. In addition, we may retain personal information from closed User accounts to comply with the law, prevent fraud, collect any fees owed, resolve disputes, troubleshoot problems, assist with any investigation, enforce our Terms of Use/User Agreement and take other actions permitted by law.

    We may collect the following types of personal information from you in order to provide you with the use of, and access to, Our Sites and services:

    • Name, address, email address, phone number, mobile telephone number, physical contact information, and (depending on the service used) sometimes financial information, such as credit card or debit card account numbers.

    • Transactional information based on your activities on Our Sites which you provide in conjunction with your to purchase of an item or service from us.

    • Personal information you provide to us through your postings on Our Sites.

    • Additional personal information we ask you to submit to authenticate your identity (for example, we may ask you to send us an ID or bill to verify your address, or to answer additional questions online to help verify your identity) or if we believe you may be violating Our Sites’ policies or ownership of an item you post for sale (for example, we may ask you to send us verification of your ownership of an item you list for sale).

    Our primary purpose in collecting personal information is to provide you with effective access to our sites and services, and to provide you with a safe, efficient, and customized experience. As an Active User you agree that we may use your personal information to:

    • Provide access to Our Sites and services;

    • Resolve disputes, collect fees, and troubleshoot problems;

    • Prevent, detect, and investigate potentially prohibited or unlawful activities, and enforce our Terms of Use/User Agreement;

    • Improve our services, content, and advertising;

    • Contact you regarding your use of Our Sites or Services;

    • Contact you regarding your posts, replies, and/or account information;

    • Provide you with services;

    • Respond to your inquires;

    • Improve Our Sites;

    • Administer, monitor and control use of Our Sites; and

    • Enforce the Term of Use/User Agreement.

  3. Disclosure of Personal Information to Third Parties and Opting Out

    We may, in our discretion, disclose your personal information to our agents and service providers we have retained, including payment processors who we believe reasonably need to come into contact with that information, to accomplish the tasks for which they have been retained.

    Unless you notify us otherwise, we may also share personal information about you with other companies for marketing purposes. If you would prefer that we not provide such information for marketing purposes, you may opt out by sending notice of your intention to opt out of such sharing to yanteres@yanteres.com

    When contacting us with such a request, please include your name, address, email address, and telephone number. Please note that we do not charge for processing this request.

    Except as otherwise expressly included in this Privacy Policy, this document addresses only the use and disclosure of personal information to third parties of information we collect from you. If you disclose your personal information to Users by posting on Our Sites, then different rules may apply to the use or disclosure of the information you provide to Users because we do not control the privacy policies of Users. As such, you may be subject to the privacy policies of such Users where applicable. We therefore encourage you to be cautious, and to ask questions before you disclose your personal information to other Users.

  4. Disclosure in Special Circumstances

    We may also disclose your name, email address, or other information about you, including personal information, if (i) required to do so by law, court order or subpoena, or as requested by other government, law enforcement, or investigative authority, (ii) we in good faith believe that such disclosure is necessary or advisable, including without limitation to protect the our rights or property, (iii) we have reason to believe that disclosing your personal information is necessary to identify, contact or bring legal action against someone who may be causing interference with our rights or property, or has breached an agreement, or if anyone else could be harmed by such activities or interference, (iv) if we determine an ad posted violates our Terms of Use/User Agreement or the rights of a third party, or (v) there is an emergency involving personal danger or the threat of harm to another. We may also provide information about you if we believe it is necessary to share information in order to investigate, prevent or take action regarding illegal activities, suspected fraud, situations involving potential threats to the physical safety of any person, or as otherwise required or permitted by law. 

Please note that if you post any of your personal information on the Site, such information may be collected and used by others over whom we have no control. Our Sites is not responsible for the use by third parties of information you post or otherwise make public.

  5. Collection of Non-Personal Information Using Cookies

    We may automatically receive and record non-personal information on our server logs from your browser as well as through other analysis of our sites and your interactions with them. Non-personal information includes without limitation your Internet Protocol (“IP”) address, cookie information (as described below), the pages you request, type of computer operating system you use, the type of browser you use, the domain name of the Internet service provider, your activities while visiting Our Sites, and the content you accessed. 

”Cookies” are small data files placed with your computer which allow web sites to store and retrieve information about you from your computer system. Our Sites may serve cookies to track individual site usage for later aggregation. But we do not use cookies in order to retrieve any information from your computer other than information originally sent in a cookie, such as a user code. We have no control over whether and how our advertisers or Users use cookies that originate from their website.

  6. Correction or Updating of Personal Information

    If your personal information changes, you may correct/update your personal information previously provided to us at any time by sending us an email at yanteres@yanteres.com.

  7. California Customer Choice Notice & Notice of Information Sharing Disclosure

    If you are a California resident and have provided personal information to us, you may be entitled by law to request certain information regarding any disclosure by us to third parties of personal information for their direct marketing purposes. To make such a request, you may send an email to yanteres@yanteres.com

    Specifying that you seek your “California Customer Choice Privacy Notice.” Please allow thirty (30) days for a response. We will respond to only one request per User per calendar year. When contacting us with such a request, please include your name, address, email address, and telephone number. Please note that we do not charge for processing this request.

  8. Children

    Our Sites are not intended for the use of children under the age of 18. Moreover, Our Sites do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18. Our sites are not oriented to Users under the age 18 and such Users are not our target audience. However, we do not actively screen Users to prevent individuals under the age 18 from using our sites, nor do we collect information indicating whether a User is a child. Some of the material on Our Sites may be for mature audiences, and as such parents and guardians should take responsibility for monitoring their child’s use and access to Our Sites.

  9. Our Sites or our Users may provide links and pointers to websites maintained by other individuals or organizations. Our Sites provides these links as a convenience to users, but we do not operate, control or endorse such sites. We also disclaims any responsibility for the information on those sites and any products or services offered there, and cannot vouch for the privacy policies of such sites. We do not make any warranties or representations that our sites or any linked sites will function without error or interruption, that defects will be corrected, or that the sites and their servers are free of viruses and other problems that can harm your computer. You are urged to use appropriate caution.

  10. Our Secure Server

    We understand that storing data in a secure manner is important. Accordingly, we store personal information we receive from our Users using reasonable physical, technical, and administrative safeguards. All transactions that take place between us and our Users are processed through our secure server in order to help ensure that your personal information is protected. However, please be aware that all sites and data storage are run on software, hardware and networks, any component of which may, from time to time, require maintenance or experience problems or breaches of security beyond our control. Accordingly we cannot guarantee the security of the information on and sent to Our Sites.

  11. Policy Changes and Acceptance

    We may revise our Privacy Policy from time to time as Our Sites evolve and change, and as laws and industry privacy practices evolve. In the upper upper left corner of this Privacy Policy we provide an effective date to make it easier for you to know when there has been a change. Accordingly, you should check our Privacy Policy regularly to ensure you are aware of our current privacy practices. Each time you access, use or browse our sites, you signify your acceptance of our the then-current Privacy Policy from the effective date of such changes. If you do not accept our Privacy Policy, you are not authorized to use Our Sites or services and must discontinue such use immediately.
